Today, like many other days, my soul drifts towards yours in the ether. If only to touch you in some small, insignificant way. If time exists all at once (a harp of ever-playing notes, dark and magnificent); I feel my heart reaching across it to hold you. I want to swim in your woundedness. I want to vibrate with every exquisite sadness you contain, learn the language of your sorrow. I want to write poetry with the words that form the outline of your pain. Verses sweet and warm Feeding your marrow Filling your stomach with the fruit of my flesh Let me subsume you Let me envelop you I have so much love inside of me. And I’ve saved it all for you.
