I am honoured to have the support of former Labour Prime Minister, The Rt Hon Gordon Brown for my re-election campaign for Bethnal Green & Stepney. The last Labour Government brought transformational change to this community and our country. We rebuilt the Royal London Hospital, delivered record investment to local schools, introduced the National Minimum Wage, cancelled debt for the world’s poorest countries, lifted over a million children and a million pensioners out of poverty and established the world’s first Climate Change Act. The 4th July is a once-in-a-generation opportunity, after 14 years of Tory chaos and division, to elect a Labour Government that can once again deliver better healthcare, housing, education, living standards and action on climate change.
