🚨 Just had one of those “wow, FSD is next level” moments. 🚗⚡ My Tesla smoothly stopped for the car ahead that was backing into a parallel parking spot… and then, further on, it gently braked for a fast cyclist coming from the right, one I literally didn’t see until the last second. 🚨 Positive momentum for Tesla FSD in Europe. ⚡ Just before today’s RDW presentation at the EU’s TCMV meeting, Sergiu Mogan caught an exclusive interview with Jürg Röthlisberger, Director of ASTRA (Switzerland’s Federal Roads Office). His take: “I can only congratulate Tesla and the Netherlands for their courage to engage in Level 2+ systems… They aren’t Level 3, they’re Level 2+. The driver remains fully responsible. 🚨 My wife just tried FSD for the first time. She was super impressed, but also stressed because she suddenly had nothing to do with her hands. Finally, I had my test drive with FSD in Germany (Düsseldorf) today. The three of us arrived after a 3-hour and 15-minute drive (with a coffee break along the way). After checking in for our 12:00 appointment, we finally set off at 12:25. We were told beforehand that it was a scheduled half-hour drive due to high demand. It was an incredible and astonishing experience. How smoothly the car drove, how it overtook stationary cars, and gave way to pedestrians (even one in the middle of the road). Finally, after all the chaotic Düsseldorf traffic with its many cars, trams, and pedestrians, we arrived at the central station, where the car parked behind taxis instead of parking spaces (I thought there weren't any available). I won't be editing the video to avoid making you wait any longer. Watch part one, and then I'll post part two, where we returned from the central station to Tesla. I'm absolutely convinced that FSD is ready for Europe. Honestly, it drives much better than a human, I think. It also sees much more than a human, especially in chaotic traffic or in unfamiliar areas where a human might linger. And before I forget, it braked once on the way to the station at a non-functioning traffic light because a yellow light was flashing next to it. Anyway, we enjoyed it today; it's a real shame it was only for half an hour. I can't wait for the update in my car after it's approved by the RDW (Netherlands Vehicle Authority). @Tesla_NL_TR & Yaşar Yiğitsoy were with me today. #Tesla #TeslaFSD #FSDforEurope
