President Museveni , “Gadaffi is a wide spectrum, he is an Arab chauvinist, an expansionist ,islamic fundamentalist but also south to south cooperation.” President Museveni told Reagan to pick one which is south to south trade and work with him. This followed after President Reagan asked Museveni to fight Gadaffi in Africa. The meeting happened in 1987, Museveni traveled with his Prime minister Samson kisekka and the Ugandan Ambassador to USA Princess Elizabeth Bagaaya.

“I would like to inform the Security Council that Africa is interested not in nuclearweapons, but in nuclear energy. The reason for our interest in nuclear energy is that all the rivers in Africa have a potential total hydropower capacity of approximately 300,000 megawatts. In Africa, we expect to have a population of 1.3 billion by 2020. The United States, with its population of only 300 million people, currently uses 1 million megawatts, but all the rivers in Africa have the potential of only 300,000 megawatts. Even if all the sites on African rivers were developed, we would not have enough electricity to sustain our population.” He said this on 24th September 2009 during the UN Security Council that was chaired by Black Obama.

“Even if United States doesn’t help us , Africa will still get Economic tigers just like Asia. My idea is that the two people (black and white ) should work together for the common good. You will see economic tigers in Africa if America cooperates but if it doesn’t you will still see economic tigers in Africa but this time mega tigers because there is nothing that can stop us.” President Museveni said this on 7th November 2003 when he was hosted at National Press club in United States by Peter Hickman.
