His high school teammate, Daymion Sanford, is a A&M team captain at linebacker. They’ll first meet at the 50 yard line for the coin flip.

For the first time in Missouri State’s long football history, a former Bears quarterback has taken snaps in an NFL game (of any sort). Las Vegas Raiders rookie Jacob Clark entered the game for the final two plays of the preseason game tonight against the 49ers. He completed one of two passes. Many ex-MSU standouts have made their way to the league. Most were a cup of coffee, some extended careers. None of ‘em were QBs.
