The idea that JJ McCarthy and a 1st could land you Justin Herbert isn’t just unrealistic — it’s fairy-tale delusion. The Chargers aren’t trading a Ferrari for a plastic tricycle. There is zero chance — not “low chance” or even “unlikely”, but literally zero — that the Chargers pick up the phone for that. This is one of those takes where you don’t even know where to start correcting it because the foundation is made of wet cardboard and wishful thinking. At this point, Nick’s trade ideas are impossible to take seriously.

I dragged myself through every painful minute of the Chargers All-22, hoping it couldn't possibly be as bad as it seemed — and yet, it was worse. Here's a 60 second glimpse. I have no idea how Justin Herbert survived such an abysmal performance by his O-line. It genuinely may be the worst O-line film I have seen in my lifetime.

I know I’m late on this, but… For years, Mahomes’ arm strength has been treated like folklore. He has always been placed in the mythical tier of cannon-armed QB’s, like his arm defied physics. All that buildup, and we finally got to see a real look at it and it landed somewhere between “fine” and “that’s it?”. Justin Herbert basically matched that throw FLAT-FOOTED — no crow hop, no 9 yard run-up launch as the game expired, just a stationary stand-still flick. The “arm talent” conversation might need a reshuffling —in that respect, it’s an Allen / Herbert conversation.
