been working on line-of-sight detection and hiding systems... you can now play hide and seek with hungry predators!

hey guys I finished the models for- look at these new little- I- ...

been a bit under the weather lately, so I didnt have much progress to show... but here's the rough prototype of the grappling mechanic! I intend to make it so that they can flip and/or lift each other as you/they wrestle for control

ordovician fightclub

ogyginus can now curl, roll and tumble!

finally added Aegirocassis to the game! I'm still working on the movement systems, but im so happy to see it in action

Just implemented very basic megalograptus dueling behavior...its just basic snapping damage and fighting for now, but I plan on adding grappling mechanics for when two lock arms and end up wrestling each other (yes I got my ass handed to me in the 2nd half)

have the new filter-feeding foods and systems set up! as well as a large dust impact/drag cloud for aegirocassis-sized creatures and up, and a showcase of the new lively eyes for megalograptus (also new godrays! but they are still WIP, trying to figure out a good look for them)

showcasing the new type of locomotion for the latest creature, a trilobite (Ogyginus)! It can run, climb up rocks and cliffs, and jump!

its fun to watch the megalograptus do its thing

thanks to the feedback of Prehistorica (Christian M.) and Joschua Knüppe I've corrected the endites, adjusted the H and P elements, and redid some of the animations! thanks so much! I think it feels much better now I also made the baby morph!

the ocean is finally populated with ogyginus! it took a while to get them working right

new terrain-based dust particle system and feeding vfx!
