This is Kenya’s Mombasa–Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway. Over 590km. Almost same distance as Tema Port to Tamale. Can you count the number of potentially dangerous articulated trucks that would be removed from the Accra -Kumasi road by such intentionality? Ghana wake up!!!

CAF security has called for reinforcement. The media just want to meet the team. We are not leaving until they come. We won’t tolerate this level of embarrassment and wastage again. If powers won’t do, we will let them know how it feels to play for this team. If you hear any of us arrested d, we will be safe.

Five years ago, Bechem United, a Ghana Premier League side, had just signed a young striker who had not played for any club before. He had been spotted playing community football. He was an instant hit in the league. Four goals in his first 10 games. I travelled to Bechem to interview him. Listening to his journey from Sampa to Bechem, I had to turn the interview into a motivational session. Urged him on to forget where he came from and work hard. I’m glad he is making it. The name is Prince Adu Kwabena and he will be striking for Ghana at the World Cup.

During a fire fighting operation at Techiman Market, it was discovered that, there was a fire hydrant that had been built over 50 years ago with abundant underground water to assist such a fire fighting activity. However, someone had constructed a container shop on the hydrant and tiled the whole hydrant. It had to be dug before officers could access water.

This is not supposed to be funny but I can’t help it. The man here is not a journalist and not an ordinary football fan. He’s the Deputy Sports Minister of Ghana. After the Ghana Olympic Team got whipped 5-1 by Morocco, he was taken on a tour of the Morocco Football Complex. He’s been dismayed and sobered. Says the Moroccans have made him understand that all the artificial pitches being laid in Ghana are of the lowest grade and out-of-date. The man feels sad and seems to accept the 5-1 is not even fair to the Moroccans. Ghana de3 Monya Sika a moanum 😂😂
