I don't think the Deltarune fandom is mentally prepared for the moment we get a Light World battle against Susie maybe right before the Roaring begins. The Undertale battle UI appears, and the music kicks in with a reprise of VS Susie mixed with Battle Against a True Hero or Hammer of Justice or probably both. I could totally see the track being called Battle Against a Real Hero or even Battle Against THE Hero. I also imagine a second Susie fight borrowing mechanics and attacks from Gerson and Undyne the Undying. It would be very very interesting to see what an Undertale style battle from modern Toby Fox would look like. Vs. Is it crazy to say Flowery might be one of the best fights in Undertale and Deltarune? I think it's incredibly fun mechanically, and oh my god, the music might honestly be a top 5 UT/DR track. Pretty much every cover of it has been amazing too. I modded in the Kasane Teto Flower Man cover by TheCappuccino04 and the levels of peak when it syncs up with the fight is unreal. I'm telling you all, when Chapter 7 releases, its final boss is going to be the best fight in the series, bar none. Toby will go even further beyond what he's done before.

It's actually kind of insane how Dark Darker Yet Darker by SharaX has stayed relevant both inside and outside the Undertale / Deltarune fandom for over 10 years. It was uploaded on February 15, 2016, and you still hear it pop up in memes and other fan content from time to time. Very few fan songs have had that kind of staying power. The only other examples I can think of is The Living Tombstone FNAF songs. It pretty much synonymous with Gaster, and even people who aren't into Undertale anymore still recognize it when it shows up.

I think this is probably just the moment Gaster finally appears. But what I'd really love is if it's actually the final phase of Gaster's fight. After you're pushed to the absolute brink, you get a But it refused. moment, and the music transitions into a reprise of the final section of Finale. Except instead of enduring on your own as just the heroes, everyone you've recruited throughout all seven chapters comes back to help you in some way, similar to how the human souls helped you during Omega Flowey's fight. I think that would be a neat payoff for everything you've done across the Deltarune, while also serving as a really cool callback to final fights with Asriel and Omega Flowey Undertale.

I lost to flowery so many times I modded in a teto vocal cover by Kuouo, I didn't expect it to play again, but oh my god was I happy it did, lowkey made flowery vs the roaring knight cooler I hope we can get teto officially in deltarune now that we have miku with mew mew

Looking at more Gaster content. This video by sagadacasinha, using artwork from outofuniform510 and audio from The Hangman (1964) is one of my favorites. If you haven't seen the short film yet, I definitely recommend it, it's only about 12 minutes long. The scene where the Hangman's face shifts as he's accused by his most faithful, only to expose the faithful's own folly has stuck with me. I think that kind of effect would work incredibly well for Gaster. Not the type of face morphing the Deltarune fandom usually gives him, but something much more unsettling like your eyes were never perceiving his face correctly in the first place.
