Raised the issue of unfair treatment of Direct Recruit KAS Officers in the Assembly today. Due to changes in SRO 256 (2016), many junior officers from feeding services are getting promoted ahead of merit-based direct recruits. Urged the Govt to restore the 55% quota for Direct Recruits, ensure seniority-based promotions, and protect merit in administration.
