Today, we’re excited to announce Salute Credits V1. As we all know.. the financial system runs on one thing above almost everything else: Trust. Today, trust is largely controlled by centralized institutions. Your financial reputation is built behind closed doors, determined by systems you can’t see, and ultimately owned by someone else. We believe there’s a better way. We believe trust should be earned through actions, not assumptions. Salute Credits is designed to help community members request and provide peer-to-peer credit while beginning to build a transparent reputation through real participation. For example, if someone in the community needs help, they can create a credit request. Another community member can decide whether they want to provide that credit, and over time, successful repayments begin building a transparent reputation based on real actions. Version 1 is intentionally simple. Every great product starts with a strong foundation, and that’s exactly what we’re building. This isn’t the finished product.. it’s the first brick. Our objective isn’t simply to help people request credit. It’s to begin building a transparent reputation layer where trust is earned through accountability, consistency, and participation over time. The internet connected people…blockchain connected value and we believe the next evolution is connecting trust.
