A few months ago, I had the opportunity to visit the California Air National Guard to learn about the incredible work they do fighting wildfires from the air. I wanted to share this reel not only to raise awareness about the heroic efforts of these men and women in uniform, but also to recognize the countless civilian air tanker crews and lead plane pilots who are risking their lives to help battle the fires in Los Angeles. In the past 48 hours, the California Air National Guard has been called in to support over 7,500 state and local firefighters and emergency personnel, with ground teams, helicopters, and C-130s on standby and ready to assist at a moment’s notice. 💪🏼
