What went wrong tonight? Ja Morant: Throws his coach under the bus. Same question asked to Zach Edey and his teammates at Purdue. Zach Edey: Throws himself under the bus. This is real leadership. Not immaturity... Zach Edey & Ced Coward are leaders and the future of this franchise. Your best players gotta be some type of leader. This franchise is in incredible good shape with Big Edey & Ced. Let's stop pretending. Im done pretending.

Footage of Pascal Siakam, Andrew Nembhard, Tyrese Haliburton, and Myles Turner being team leaders weeks before training camp. The entire Pacers roster worked out together at Paskal Siakam's house in Orlando together before training camp. The Indiana Pacers aren't going to the Finals because they got a lucky draw. The Indiana Pacers aren't going to the Finals because people got hurt. The Indiana Pacers aren't going to the Finals because their conference was down. The Indiana Pacers are going to the Finals because they got a taste of the Eastern Conference Finals last season and have been preparing to take it up a notch ever since. The Indiana Pacers are going to the Finals because they've been preparing for it as a collective unit well before the season even started. They've been preparing to win TOGETHER as a TEAM. Tyrese Haliburton didn't make the all-star team. Siakam did tho and he was happy for him and didnt give a shit that he didn't make it. He had bigger goals in mind. Can't say that about every other franchise player in the league, and it showed. Nobody saw this coming, but from the looks of it, they knew this was coming. Kudos to them.

Just a reminder that last season the Houston Rockets were the #2 seed with Dillon Brooks & the Phoenix Suns were the 11th seed with Kevin Durant. Shoutout to Dillon Brooks, The Villain, for changing the narrative of his career after the awful offseason when he was the butt of jokes on this app after the Grizz front office & head coach threw him under the bus after that Lakers series. He embarrassed Steve Kerr and Team USA in FIBA that offseason and he's currently playing the best ball of his life. Shoutout to him for being himself unapologetically and never trying to be fake friends with anyone in the league while never bowing down and kissing the ass of the most popular guys in the league.

After tearing his achilles not even a full year ago, James Wiseman played 16 straight minutes last night. 3 minutes to close the 3rd quarter and the entire 4th quarter. You know what I saw, Caitlin Cooper? I saw a guy, who you constantly say has poor conditioning to anyone within earshot, constantly dust his man up and down the floor for his entire 16 minutes on the floor. I saw his teammates constantly get wide open 3s just from him running the floor or diving to the rim. I saw him prevent drives in transition from him sprinting back. I saw Johnny Juzang shoot 6-9 from the floor & 2 of his 3 misses came off a Wiseman contested 3 and a Wiseman block at the rim. I saw Wiseman dust a younger and athletic 19 year old down the floor after playing 8 straight minutes, which allowed him to be in position for an offensive rebound and putback. I saw someone that you said had poor condition all last year during his brief stint and just as recently as 2 weeks ago on a podcast, be the last guy to tap out of a conditioning drill during camp. According to the Pacers broadcast, he was one of the last 2 people to last in that drill. Those are the things that I saw, Caitlin. You saw an exhibit 10 guy constantly get beat in the half court and lost in transition and decided to tweet about positioning & #11 not being able to clean up his shit. Keep stacking days, practices, and games, James.

For all of the people that keep saying the Steelers stopped Derrick Henry last night after just 5 2nd half carries, here's how the 2nd half started for Derrick Henry in Green Bay. 1st Drive: 1st carry 1 yard 2nd carry 4 yards 3rd carry 1 yard 4th carry -5 yards Drive stalls. 4 total carries 1 yard 2nd drive: 1st carry(3rd down & 5) 10 yards 2nd carry 31 yards Derrick Henry had 1 yard on the 1st 4 carries against Green Bay and proceeded to run all over them the rest of the night. If Lamar was playing in that Green Bay game, they would've abandoned the run after the 1st drive in the 2nd half & yall would've told me that the Packers solved Henry.. Especially after the Packers scored right after the Ravens 1st 2nd half drive. Does King Henry get the rock on 3rd & 5 in that Green Bay game if Lamar is playing? Absolutely not. Lamar put on the cape and started to dice Pittsburgh up, but don't tell me the Steelers stopped Henry. Harbaugh had other opportunities in that 2nd half to get him the rock. Harbaugh doesnt trust Derrick in those type of close game situations late, because of the early season fumbles. They kneeled the ball before the fg attempt instead of giving Henry a crack or 2 because they didnt trust him. They just do what they always do in those type of games. They lean on Lamar. They didnt stop Derrick Henry. Stop the nonsense.

"Jonathan Kuminga needs to go somewhere where he doesn't have such cynicism looking at him all of the time." Tim Legler saying the quiet part out loud. Imagine your coach saying this about you a month before ur free agency. Nobody would want to come back and play for a coach who viewed them this way.
