My message to Delhi’s citizens, especially our youth: Overspeeding may give you “rizz”, riding without a helmet may feel “cool”, and tripling may seem like “fun” — but none of it is worth a life cut short, leaving a family devastated and friends grieving. Delhi’s roads are shared by all of us. Follow traffic rules, ride responsibly, and help build a safer #Delhi for everyone.

In 1956, my mother left rural Punjab with little more than a dream - to study at Ohio State University. Two years later, she returned home with a PhD. Her courage, love for learning and refusal to let circumstances limit her dreams have inspired me all my life. Sharing her story with young girls at the Gomti Book Festival, I told them: where you begin does not decide how far you can go. Dream boldly. Learn fearlessly. Believe in yourself. Never give up!

Amazingly simple yet innovative local technology—a lift developed in Khankot, rural Amritsar—made it easier to safely transport the 97-year-old father of Bill Joshan. A good example of grassroots ingenuity making lives easier!

I repeatedly warned during my 2024 campaign in Amritsar about the inevitable deportations of ‘illegal’ immigrants from the United States. Despite these warnings, many individuals traveled to the US illegally. Those who chose to stay silent then and are now raising their voices owe the public an explanation! We must remember to focus on education, skill development, and creating jobs for our youth as a long-term solution. Sharing this video from April 2024!
