So let me get this straight. Tens of thousands of Iranians are murdered and that’s what gets the regime back to the table? Why do we keep engaging them on a moral level? The “Supreme Leader” sees himself as a spokesperson of God. He doesn’t negotiate. He sends disposable mullahs in suits to stall, lie, and buy time while innocent people are slaughtered. And we still call this “diplomacy.” 🤯

47 years ago today, the Shah left Iran believing the streets of his nation should not be filled with hatred and war. What followed was not peace. Instead, the country was handed over to the two most destructive forces: Islamist theocrats and Marxist revolutionaries. Both were dangerously underestimated, both exploited the chaos, and the Islamists ultimately devoured the rest. That turning point condemned an entire nation to decades of darkness and terror.

The regime in Iran is on an execution spree, murdering the bravest and brightest among the Iranian people. Stand in solidarity with the people of Iran against Khamenei’s regime. For every person executed in Iran, thousands rise in defiance and declare: #CutTheRope.

“What better feeling than to be free.” — #SarinaEsmailzadeh Sarina was a 16-year-old girl from Karaj, #Iran. One year ago, she took to the streets to protest for freedom in Iran. She was met with brutal violence and was beaten to death by regime security forces. If innocence had a face, it would be Sarina’s. Her wisdom, empathy, and passion for life radiated from her. Her smile and laughter were contagious, and her soul was gentle. We came to know her well through her YouTube videos where she shared her life and spoke out against the injustices faced by Iranians. I’ll never forget when she described the hardships of life in Iran and questioned why her life differed so much from that of teenagers in New York or Los Angeles. I watched as Sarina vlogged herself putting on eyeliner for the first time. It reminded me of my own teenage years. She simply wanted to enjoy the freedoms many of us take for granted. I felt guilty when I realized that the only thing setting me apart from the youth of Iran was that my family left Iran in pursuit of a better life. Sarina embodies the essence of the transformative changes occurring in Iran through her life, voice, aspirations, and courage. A new generation will reshape the future. May her memory inspire unity, and may her sacrifice serve as a powerful reminder of the importance of standing together for a free Iran.

28 today. Every year I’m grateful to grow older, and every year it hurts more to know so many young Iranians never got the chance. There is nothing that separates us except where we were born. They deserved the same safety, joy, and future I’ve been afforded here. I carry them with me. Always.

A message from the Iranian people to Donald J. Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu - בנימין נתניהו: “Do not give more time to Ali Khamenei and the regime’s leaders… The people of Iran love peace and friendship with the world. Long live Iran, Long live Israel, Long live the United States.”
