Tinghuadao is officially back in its light comedy era— basically a comedy wrapped in romance. Cheng Xun, the female lead’s younger brother, time-travels ten years into the past to stop unnecessary heartbreak between his sister and brother-in-law. The moment he arrives, he rushes straight to the male lead’s company, calls him “brother-in-law,” kisses him on the cheek, and casually spills everything about the future 😂 He basically becomes the ultimate matchmaker, love assistant, and later even their babysitter. Since Qi Huaiyuan already treated him well in the previous timeline, he knows just how much he loves his sister. Their teamwork is surprisingly perfect and hilarious 😆 Qi Huaiyuan looks all cold and CEO-like in public, but in private he’s completely soft for Cheng Qiao. He’s been secretly in love with her for years—memorizing her preferences, quietly fixing everything she ever complained about at work and even getting her name tattooed on his lower back. He's someone who gives everything silently for the person he loves—a total lovestruck softie. The way he secretly spoils her is addictive to watch. He truly, deeply loves her. Even the gifts she gives him casually are treasured like priceless items, and he carefully arranges them on his office desk 🥺 Cheng Qiao is a brave, kind, and smart girl who’s also a total money-lover 😂 She’s always thinking of new ways to earn money. She meets Qi Huaiyuan, a super rich man who fully understands her personality and always goes along with it, supporting her in his own way. Overall, I really love this kind of light comedy so much. My only complaint is that right after they finally fully opened up to each other emotionally, the drama ended way too quickly 😭 I seriously didn’t get enough of them— I need more episodes of these two. Their chemistry is completely off the charts.
