Genuinely surprised Hibs have the option to make this loan move permanent from Man United. Got to assume the fee would make it a record signing if they take the option. This is Devaney last year as an 18 year old at Celtic Park, for St. Mirren. Shame he's not Scottish! 🤣

After today's St. Mirren Vs Dunfermline match, in the Premier Sports post-match interview, St. Mirren manager Craig McLeish asks "who was he (the ref) a goalkeeper for?" Today's referee Sean Murdoch made 200 first team appearances for Dunfermline....

Canny be stopping mascots wiggling their big stupid teddy arses at the away fans, surely. This is patter. Should be in the mascot job description. The Paisley Panda used to throw bars of soap at the Morton fans fs 😂 All the other behaviour that day obviously inexcusable, but surely had no connection to the behaviour of the teddy bears.

When seeing the rising transport costs to get from Boston to the ground, a guy called Mike (teevanography) took it upon himself to book buses for Scotland fans to get the games. The fans had all paid in full for this, then at last minute the bus companies asked for an extra $14k! This would have resulted in asking over 1,000 fans to pay extra at short notice. Instead, Mike was able to source alternate, cheaper transport (yellow school buses) which resulted in a huge amount left over, from what the fans had initially paid. Mike took it upon himself to donate over $18k, with $15,000 going to a charity that helps school children in Boston. Phenomenal work 👏 Boston news report ⤵️

My take: the ball hitting a hand is not always a handball offence. You have to either 1.) deliberately touch the ball with your hand, or 2.) ball hits your hand/arm when it's made your body unnaturally bigger. This isn't deliberate, and if the ball hits his hand - which is on his forehead in the middle of a normal footballing challenge - he hasn't made his body unnaturally bigger. Because the ball would have hit his head anyway, so his hand on his head does not make his body unnaturally bigger. Furthermore, VAR can only recommend an on-field review for a clear and obvious error. There is only one camera angle available, which does not show that the referee has missed a clear and obvious error. We can't see clearly where the ball hits. This is categorically not what VAR was brought in for, and it all needs ripped up in the summer. This is a really poor look for Scottish football, as you can see from the international condemnation online since the game. You really have to feel for Hearts. Unless you're a Celtic fan of course, that must have been class. But if you're not a Celtic fan. Deary me. Could be a generation defining decision, never mind season defining!

This is the best thing I've ever seen from a referee 👏

Man, it would be truly shite if we lost that 5th European spot. St. Mirren with their first European tie in 37 years last season, United fans getting this trip to Vienna against the team they knocked out of the EUROPEAN CUP Quarter Finals 40 years ago!

Super finish from Braga. Free kick clearly taken in the wrong place & commentators are insisting VAR checked and cleared it. VAR cannot intervene for faulty restarts of play (e.g. foul throw or ball in the wrong place) This was purely on the referee

"Looks out of play, agree?" From the same official that said "more outside, agree?" when referring to a foul in the box in the League Cup Final If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got. Use of VAR needs overhauled in the summer, surely

A lot of taking the piss out of Collum for yesterday's videos; getting aviation experts in to train the VAR team. But actually, it's a good idea & exactly what the EPL did for their referees two years ago. Some of the VAR comms last season were really poor - this could help.
