The floodgates at Cowans Ford dam are open in Denver NC and it’s become quite a tourist attraction. I had to get across bridge to get home and sat in a 2-mile line. Pretty, though. Some people are circling around to see it twice. Cops won’t allow anyone to stop. Probably wise.

.Jeff Siner and I recorded this The Charlotte Observer interview with Greg Olsen a while back but never found the perfect place for it. But this story he told us - about 5 very superstitious Panthers who HAD to take the same road to every home game in 2015 - seems perfect for playoff week. I know it's kind of long - but stick with it - it's hilarious.
