We shouldn’t have to worry about mass displacement every time there is a tech boom in this city. The fact that we do is the result of decades of obstructionist politicians refusing to build. I have spent my career working to change that so people can continue to live in the best city in the world. In Congress, I will fight tirelessly to ensure that San Francisco has the resources and funding to build the homes we need.
