Every camper gets a photo with Cunningham. And, as you’d expect, they all want to do the signature point

Day 1 of Fever training camp underway at Gainbridge Fieldhouse

DeWanna Bonner checks in, is immediately boo’d by Fever fans. Was part of Indiana for just nine games. Her partner, Alyssa Thomas, gestures to fans to keep bringing it.

Here’s my best guess of when Jalen Brunson tweaked his right foot. He immediately demanded a sub.

Steph White said earning the technical foul was done to make a point. "Caitlin (Clark) says she's got me though," White said, smiling. "She just got a bonus."

Tyrese Haliburton, T.J. McConnell, Rick Carlisle, and Isaac Yacob just arrived for Nored’s press conference at Butler.

Caitlin appears frustrated with a fan courtside, alerts an official. Then Bonner says something to Clark that she didn’t like.

Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston, Bree Hall, Rob Dosier of the Fever courtside for Summer Pacers Game 1. Jay Huff, Aaron Nesmith, Pacers coaching staff and execs too.

Caitlin Clark flips the script, asks to take a photo of more than 33 media members following her press conference on Fever media day

Caitlin Clark reacts in real-time to learning LeBron James is joining the 76ers: “No way! Wow. … I’ll be watching more 76ers games.”

Aliyah Boston was not aware she was given a technical foul when she stepped in front of Angel Reese. "Wait, what? AB got the tech? Ohhh NO!" *later turns to Caitlin about the fine* "can I get half?" Caitlin: "I got it for you, don't worry."

Dawn Staley, a member of the USWNT selection committee, asked about Caitlin Clark. “If we had to do it all over again, the way that she’s playing, she would be in really high consideration of making the team because she is playing head and shoulders above a lot of people.”

Chennedy Carter, given a chance to explain herself postgame, says "next question." Then later, "I ain't answering no Caitlin Clark questions." Coach Teresa Weatherspoon stepped in: "That's enough. We're good." Disappointing press conference. Accountability lacking.

Tyrese Haliburton: “I feel great. Body feels great. I’m able to do everything. I feel like I’m operating like I’m a healthy NBA player — for the first time in a long time, which is exciting.”

Caitlin Clark was asked if she's owed a public apology from Chennedy Carter: "No. ... There's no grudges. There's nothing like that. It's a sport. It's competitive. It's not going to be nice all the time."

Asked about Caitlin Clark's growth, Jewell Loyd (2015 WNBA ROY) opts to talks about Storm rookies, adding "our focus is our team..."

Fun interaction when Stephanie White was asked about their defense in Game 2. White: "Ehhhh" Clark: "We only gave up 78 points. We're going to win a lot of games if we do that. What do you want?" White: "I want more. Coaches always want more..." Clark, smiling: "She's insane."

Stephanie White discusses the loss, then defends Kelsey Mitchell & Aliyah Boston and says there’s a double standard in calls: "I think Aliyah Boston is the worst officiated post player in the league. She never gets a call."

Spoke with Indiana's second-round pick Braden Smith. He knew the Pacers, Lakers, and Bucks were interested. "Just to be here and be literally close to home and be around a community I've always been around, so it's awesome." Now, he's embracing this next challenge.

Becky Hammon said she has not heard from the WNBA directly regarding A'ja Wilson or her team. "A'ja's fully available and ready to rock. ... She'll be great tonight, I have no doubt."

Fever head coach Stephanie White postgame: "I think it was pretty obvious that stuff was brewing. When the officials don't get control of the ball game, when they allow that stuff to happen ... this is what happens. "They got to be better."

Back at Indiana Fever practice for Day 2. Three possessions. Three Caitlin Clark assists.

President Barack Obama makes a surprise appearance before the start of WNBA All-Star practice — being held at the Obama Presidential Center on the south side of Chicago

The WNBA All-Star draft with Caitlin Clark and Napheesa Collier is tonight — but will air tomorrow. Clark said “I think there’s a high chance that Kels and AB are on my team.” That’s the goal.
