It's not ridiculous. Coaches get old and lose it just like players. Mahomes set a record in 2021 with 10 TD passes of 1-2 yards. A couple bullets in here but most of this is easy by design. This Andy Reid, this creativity, is gone.

It's not the same. Here's all 8 TD passes Stafford has thrown from 1-2 yards out. He doesn't get deeper than the 7 on all but one of them. Most are inside the 5. Most are to the front half of the end zone. Nothing is a scramble either.
