Today Tesla at Naperville Chicago received in the showroom the Cosmic Silver Model YL I stopped in after work to check it out. Notables: Cosmic Silver with Zen Grey interior Black headliner 16 inch screen Launch emblems throughout. Center armrest also Zen Grey Cooled wireless charging. 3rd row floor is slightly elevated but not bad Plenty of space for each row. (I’m 6 foot and fit in 3rd row easily) I love the 20 inch wheels. Look very premium Overall it feels very premium and well made. Does not have front fender and rear camera washers like the Robotaxi 😢 but front bumper cam does have washer.

Tonight I used FSD to leave a parking lot. It exited correctly but accidentally turned into a car wash entrance, thinking it was the exit. It literally had nowhere to go because the car wash was closed. For some people, if this happened to them, they would get mad and say, “FSD is trash—it can’t even leave a parking lot correctly.” They would disengage, turn around, leave, and talk about how much of a regression the software is. Note: This was on FSD 14.3.3. For me, my first thought was: Okay, how many times have we ourselves taken a wrong turn by accident and needed to turn around? Maybe we misread a road sign, maybe we were talking to someone and not paying attention, or maybe we were on our phone and made a mistake. Yet we give ourselves a pass. We just turn around and don’t think anything of it. So I thought, Let’s see what FSD does. Well, it took a few tries, but it nicely turned around and found the correct exit all on its own. I didn’t do anything. It didn’t phone home to Tesla or need anyone to correct it. My point is that so many people discredit how good FSD really is because they want to highlight the mistakes. I think it’s more important to recognize how well it can safely address those mistakes and find a solution on its own.

Has anyone had success setting their home driveway spot in your driveway or garage for navigation with FSD with the Holiday update? Ive tried to set my S to Park inside my garage a few times and it will not park inside garage. It keeps parking in front of garage either forward, or backing and parking in front of garage. For my Cybertruck I set it on the map to park in the third side spot in my drive way, but it will not pull over there, it pulls in front of the garage as well. Here are few videos. This is the first night since having the new holiday update, so I'll keep checking to see if it parks in correct spot, but so far it hasn't really made a difference. Has it worked for anyone else?

Testing FSD 14.3.4 coming into town and it still struggles to slow to correct speed on its own. Speed limits in WI in most towns are 25 MPH. As I come into town speed limit was 45 and it was holding that good. But once I come into town I NEED it to slow correctly to at least 30 so it’s only over by 5 mph If I don’t I will get pulled over. Cops sit at the edge of town. Just waiting to catch you. I tried it again tonight and still does not slow on its own. I usually just switch the speed profile to chill and it immediately slows and I’m good. I can switch it back to standard and it holds at about 5 over. Why can’t FSD just do this on its own? Once unsupervised is here this must be correct. I know FSD is work in progress but this is one of the pain points many of us struggle with. The signs are clearly marked. It even has slow down ahead signs. FSD needs to do its job correctly. I love FSD and I know they will get this but just wanted to highlight the importance of this. Until then I’ll just use the quick change profile trick. 🤙🏼 Tesla AI

🚨Notice! I highly recommend using the updated Smart Summons with FSD 14.3.3 It works great. It is very confident. It moves faster. It also stops nice and smooth now. I think you will find yourself using it all the time as you get used to it. I’ve tested it a few times today and very impressed. Here are few examples.
