Chris Evans recently spoke about Sebastian Stan and answered his favorite scene with him in the Marvel movies: “Every scene. That’s another thing when you don’t realize how good you had it until you don’t really have it anymore. I have such a love for Winter Soldier, that film, Seb and I had so much to do there, even until Civil War. We really love working together so much… I guess I can’t give it too much away; I was about to start really talking. I very much enjoy working with Sebastian; he’s a lovely, lovely man. He’s the best. I don’t think either of us really knew what we signed up for. I think we were both in similar parts of our career.”

Cristian Mungiu about why he had to make Sebastian Stan bald in ‘FJORD’ because he was too handsome for the character: “Having in mind the character that could be interpreted by Sebastian, but never looked like him. Because Sebastian is this wonderfully looking, handsome young boy—or man, I would say, man—who is the idol of all the adolescents, and I needed a troubled 40-year-old handling five children and a lot of doubts about the world. So, I finally ended up with this idea of telling Sebastian, ‘You know, what if you don’t look like yourself?’”

Ed Brubaker recalled how he and Steve Epting, creators of the Winter Soldier, were denied entry to the ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’ premiere party in 2014 before Sebastian Stan helped them to get in: “They were like, “you’re not on the list”. This whole movie is based on our work. I’m in the movie. I can’t believe I have to text the star of the movie to get into the after-party. But it also sort of reinforces the fact that they don’t have as much respect for the comic book creators who are creating all the stuff that this is based on.” 🔗
