On my first day Dept. of Agriculture, we told every state to send us their SNAP data so we could make sure illegal immigrants aren’t getting benefits meant for American families. 29 states stepped up. 21 blue states refused — and two SUED US FOR ASKING! 🤦🏻♀️ And guess what? In just the states that cooperated, we’ve already uncovered massive fraud. The Democrat Party has turned its back on working Americans and built its entire strategy around protecting illegal aliens. They know if the handouts stop, those illegals will go back home, and Democrats will lose 20+ seats after the next census. There’s a new sheriff in town. President Donald J. Trump will not tolerate waste, fraud, or abuse while hardworking Americans go hungry.

⚡️ BIG NEWS for rural Georgia!⚡️ The Dept. of Agriculture is investing $3.3 BILLION in Oglethorpe Power Corporation to support a transformative electric generating facility. Since the start of his term President Donald J. Trump has been resolute in our goal for American energy dominance, and we are doing that today in Georgia by delivering reliable and affordable electricity to our rural communities. This is the largest single loan in USDA Rural Utilities history, delivering reliable, affordable electricity and supporting job growth in rural communities! 🇺🇸💪

.Dept. of Agriculture has NEVER had access to State SNAP data. Not until this Administration demanded it. That’s why every figure from years past is meaningless. From the 29 states that DID share data, we’ve already identified at least $3 billion a year in fraud. Extrapolated nationwide: more than $10 billion. This isn’t “erroneous payments.” This is FRAUD — and yes, Angie Craig, I know the difference. Do you?

The backbone of America. The spirit of America. Our farmers and ranchers. 🇺🇸 On National Farmer’s Day, THANK YOU to the men and women who rise before the sun, work through uncertainty, and carry forward the pioneering spirit that built this nation. You deserve a country that has your back — and under President Donald J. Trump, we’re delivering. We have made great progress, but there is still much to do. But that is why we will keep working every single day to put our FARMERS FIRST! God bless our farmers and ranchers. God bless America.

Unfortunately, the weather may have disrupted parts of the Freedom 250 celebration, but we were grateful to open the beautiful Dept. of Agriculture building to provide shelter. And then this happened… these incredible patriots spontaneously broke into the National Anthem.🇺🇸 I love my country.

NO DATA, NO MONEY — it’s that simple. If a state won’t share data on criminal use of SNAP benefits, it won’t get a dollar of federal SNAP administrative funding. Let’s see which states stand for accountability and which are just protecting their bribery schemes. 🤔💸

Today, just four companies — JBS, Cargill, Tyson Foods, and National Beef — control roughly 85% of the cattle processing market. That level of concentration has surged from just 25% in 1977 to 71% by 1992, and now to an astonishing 85%. Together, these companies operate through dozens of subsidiary businesses, creating a landscape that leaves many of our cattle producers with limited marketing options. For some ranchers this means less marketing opportunities, complicating an already challenging marketplace. We must work to address this to protect our ranchers and consumers. President Donald J. Trump and this administration are focused on promoting fairness and competition — ensuring our producers have options and a level playing field. 🇺🇸🥩

The MAHA movement doesn't stop with what we EAT — It's also about what we WEAR. For decades, America offshored textile jobs and allowed foreign synthetic, plastic-based materials to take over the clothing market. Together with Secretary Kennedy, the Great American Cotton Plan puts American-grown cotton FIRST again: supporting our farmers, strengthening U.S. manufacturing, and giving families a natural choice.

A great American living legend, my precious friend Dr. Ben & Candy Carson, is officially on the Dept. of Agriculture team! 🇺🇸 Sworn in today as our new National Nutrition Advisor, he joins us in the fight to Make America Healthy Again! Standing at the bridge of farming, nutrition, and national security. Dr. Carson’s leadership will be vital as we work with President Donald J. Trump, Secretary Kennedy, and our great farmers to strengthen the health and vitality of America! So grateful for his servants heart. ♥️

To all Americans who have voiced concerns about protections for our dogs: we have heard you loud and clear. 🐾🇺🇸 Today, I am proud to announce that, in response to more than 7,500 public comments, USDA is taking additional steps to strengthen animal welfare protections. 🚨 Deploying the USDA Animal Protection Bureau to target bad actors and illegal activity 👮♂️Increasing Inspector General staffing by 20% 📬 Delivering 2,000 notices reminding regulated breeders of their responsibility to provide humane care ⚖️ Tightening oversight, raising standards, and strengthening accountability across the system Great discussion with Lara Trump , Secretary Kennedy, and Jeanine Pirro about the work ahead. Animal welfare is not up for negotiation. Americans should know that at USDA, we will always stand up for man’s best friend. 🐶🇺🇸

Animal welfare is the law, and we are enforcing it. 🐾🇺🇸 Secretary Kennedy and I brought together partners from Dept. of Agriculture, HHS, the U.S. Department of Justice, U.S. EPA, and Lara Trump to strengthen enforcement and protect dogs. This year, USDA has inspected more than 2,000 dog breeder and broker facilities, trained 98 inspectors, and created a new Animal Protection Bureau to improve compliance and address violations. HHS has launched more than 20 initiatives to reduce unnecessary animal testing and advance human-based research methods. I want to give a special thank you to Lauree Simmons, Big Dog Ranch Rescue, and other organizations who champion this important effort. President Donald J. Trump’s administration will continue to fight for animal welfare, or as Bobby said: we’re going to Make America Humane Again.

For years, the Democrats let fraudsters abuse SNAP and take advantage of this massive government program — the Biden admin ballooning it by 40% as they tried to buy votes with your tax dollars. It is hard to fully comprehend what would have happened If President Trump hadn’t won. This program and so many others would have continued to grow unchecked and freedom as we know it would have been lost forever. We are working with relentless intention with our great Vice President JD Vance’s Task Force to Eliminate Fraud, our USDA team, and the Dog Park. So far: • 4.3 million people moved off SNAP; • Over 355,000 people getting double benefits found; • 186,000 dead people getting benefits; 440,000 people using dummy SSNs • 893 arrests by USDA alone, so many more by Daniel More coming. STAY TUNED. 🇺🇸

100 million barrels of oil are headed our way — and should bring significant relief to diesel prices at a critical time for America’s farmers and truckers. Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas, Alabama, Nebraska and several other states are also taking action on dyed diesel, which could cut 10–20% off the price per gallon. President Trump is taking action now while keeping American energy dominance front and center for the long term. 🇺🇸💪

SNAP fraud is out of control, and the numbers we HAVE prove it. Data from just 29 states uncovered nearly 200,000 people with dead people’s social security numbers… Meanwhile, 21 states are suing to keep their data hidden. Why block transparency unless the truth is worse than the headlines? 🤦🏻♀️ This is exactly what happens when a massive program runs on outdated lists and zero accountability. Not to mention the 40% increase in recipients under the Biden Administration… 🤔 It’s time to clean up SNAP NOW!!!

The facts are clear: America’s beef cattle herd is at its lowest level since the 1950s. As of January 1, we have just 27.6 million head of beef cows. Over the past decade alone, we’ve lost more than 17% of our cattle ranchers, with over 100,000 ranches disappearing across the country. This is the reality we inherited — driven by the radical left’s climate alarmism, years of drought, wildfires, market volatility, and overregulation. President Donald J. Trump and this administration are committed to reversing that trend — strengthening the American beef industry, supporting our ranchers, and preserving this way of life for the next generation. 🇺🇸🥩
