Heard an insane stat I heard watching Josh Pate’s show: Taking the Top 3 teams (Ohio State, Indiana, Oregon) in the Big Ten over the last 2 years, the rest of the Big Ten is a combined 1-48 vs those teams! The SEC, however, has had more depth. Taking the 3 teams with the highest win totals from 2024-25, (Georgia, Texas, Ole Miss), the rest of the SEC is a combined 6-37 against them. Still dominant, but at least there's the possibility of upsets. This shows mid-tier SEC teams are still competitive with top ones, while the Big Ten seemingly has little competition between Tier 1 and other layers of the conference.
