The most surreal thing Iโve seen on a football field: Days after the Damar Hamlin scareโฆQuay Walker shoves the Lions team doctor before Devonte Wyatt purposely knocks into him. This after a deliberate cheap shot to Swiftโs head. Still seems fake even watching this now.

Maybe the best 24 hours for USA Curling since John Shuster won gold in 2018. Peterson with one of the best throws youโll see to cap miraculous win to move to 4-1. Casper with huge wins over Sweden & Denmark. Medaling in all 3 events is very much on the table for the Americans!

Justin Rogers says the Eagles losing Milton Williams & Josh Sweat and then trading for Jaelan Phillips would be the equivalent of the Lions letting Jameson Williams go then trading for Hollywood Brown: โTo me the Phillips trade is the equivalent of saying we canโt afford Jamo. We let him go in free agency โฆ And then saying, oh shit in the middle of the season we need speed & trading for Hollywood Brown โฆ Thatโs the equivalent of what the Eagles did & we are celebrating Howie Roseman โฆ How would you feel if Brad Holmes was letting his star players go & then trading 3rd-round picks for patchwork?โ

For the 3rd-straight game, Mike Valenti & Jim Costa pick against the Lions. โPackers for me.โ โOne problemโyour QB outside in the rain.โ โI worry about Goff outdoors. This has to be the week they get punished.โ โOutside of Minnesota who have you beat? Good talk. Packers +2.5โ

Matt Dery on his high-horse again with Jamo ๐๐๐ Unbelievable: โActed like a complete clown & grabbed his crotch ... whatever.โ โJameson Williamsโ act is getting tired.โ โTalented kid, but it seems like every week we bring up an immature act.โ

Rico Beard on Lions-Browns โ Today: โThe Lions handled business. They did what I thought they were going to do. Double-digit discoโing.โ Friday: โ9.5 is just way too many points in the NFL. Iโm going to take the Browns & the points. I donโt believe in the double-digit disco.โ

Sept.10, 2018 Justin Verlander makes his return to Comerica Park. He gets emotional watching the pre-game tribute video. Goes out of his way after his last inning to take the long route to the dugout to acknowledge fans. Then post-game he & Astros manager AJ Hinch give thoughts.

I have changed my opinion on Miles Frazierโs availability for this year. He sounds completely ready to go. Said he promises conditioning wise heโs ready to play right now. Said heโll play kicker, linebacker, C, T, G or tight end if the team needs. This was an electric interview

My favorite Detroit Lions play ever pre-Holmes/Campbell was Darius Slayโs interception on Thanksgiving in 2016 against the Vikings. Led to a Matt Prater walk-off FG. Enjoy retirement, Darius Slay!
