On July 19, 1848, in a bold and defiant gathering at Seneca Falls, NY women rose up to demand what had long been denied: equality. Their courage helped ignite the women’s rights movement and changed the course of American history. The Seneca Project proudly carries that name and their legacy as we galvanize women to defend our rights, our freedom, and our democracy. The fight they began continues—and it needs all of us!
