I've incorporated hundreds of pages of Democrat priorities in the Clarity Act: 33 Dem-driven edits in Title I alone, 23 new illicit finance sections, 30 more CFTC wins, 3 entirely new titles Dems wanted. That's 100+ compromises — yet still not enough for some. "Perfect" stopped being principled months ago. Now it's just an excuse not to legislate. We have to pass the Clarity Act NOW.

My advice to Jamie Dimon? Grab a chair, find a good spot on the beach, and actually read this bill over July 4th. His concerns have been addressed — section 301 handles them directly. We have 16 provisions protecting against illicit finance. He is just simply mistaken.

We have to be fair; we can't write crypto ethics rules for one person. This is bigger than President Donald J. Trump; it has to stand the test of time. Look at Congress's stock trading problem—Nancy Pelosi is exhibit A. This is about fair, consistent ethics rules for digital assets—for everyone.

I am encouraged that Chair Warsh supports the goals of the Fed’s skinny master account proposal. I strongly support the Fed finalizing this rule as soon as possible. Thank you, Governor Waller, for continuing to work hard on this. Our payment system is a public good, and any financial institution— new or old— who wants to comply with the law should have access to it. We should be encouraging businesses to do this, not creating arbitrary barricades.
