I think most hardcore DB fans at this point know the PSP Dragonball Evolution tie-in fighter is basically just a reskinned Shin Budokai but I love how Goku just deadass keeps all his combos intact from those games too

Meanwhile in Magical Mirror, Mickey's doing Hadoukens and Shoryukens to beat the hell out of some barrels. Incredibly funny year for him.

Y'all ever notice how Roll's MvC1 & 2 intro animations are parodies of Strider's?

DB Kai Ultimate Butoden on DS has a few What-If stories including several where instead of Goku swooping in to save the day at pivotal points in the plot, it's Yamcha Except instead of winning, Yamcha gets fucking killed in increasingly brutal ways

Yo holy shit, Haunted Castle Revisited is basically Castlevania Rebirth 2. Been waiting for another bonkers M2 project like this. It plays really well so far.

Y'all want to see Mickey Mouse doing Street Fighter moves in an official Capcom game? Dude that directed this game also directed Breath of Fire 3 & 5, wrote BoF4, Dragon's Dogma I & II, and was one of the lead planners for World Tour in SF6, apparently. Interesting trajectory.

The next Capcom Vs. Legacy video is on Tron Bonne! In celebration, I'll be posting Tron Bonne related MvC trivia every few days or so in the leadup to the video. Here's one for starters: Did you know there's a lore reason for why Tron's Lunch Rush super can't be mashed?
