🚨 🇺🇸 USS Roosevelt (DDG-80) has moved from the Persian Gulf into the Eastern Mediterranean. The Aegis destroyer is a frontline ballistic missile defense asset, armed with SM-3 interceptors and advanced sensors that have previously been used in Israel’s defense against Iranian missile threats. The ship was seen operating alongside its MH-60R Seahawk helicopter (reg 166566, HSM-79) near Cyprus earlier.
