SFJ OFFERS TO FUND 24/7 GURDWARA SECURITY In response to the Edmonton attack, SFJ Canada has offered to engage and fund 24/7 professional security for Gurdwaras in Edmonton and Calgary, should their respective management committees desire the additional protection. SFJ General Counsel Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, in previous communiqués to the Carney Government, has warned that India’s sustained narrative-building — portraying Canadian Sikhs as “terrorists,” “extremists” and national-security threats — is “JEOPARDIZING” the safety and security of the Canadian Sikhs. For years, this narrative has been transmitted from the highest levels of the Indian state — Prime Minister Narendra Modi, External Affairs Minister S.
