That foreign aid without strategy wasn’t charity, it was leverage being handed away. That teaching, training, and funding capacity offshore while neglecting our own foundations would come back to bite us on the arse. Decades later, here we are. We import what we used to make. We rely on supply chains we don’t control. We wonder how a country rich in resources ended up poor in capability. The road always led here. And today, on his birthday, it’s worth saying it plainly. Once upon a time, Australians actually built these things. We made cars. We made steel. We trained fitters, welders, machinists, engineers and apprentices. Those industries created skills, businesses, decent wages and a pathway for ordinary Australians to buy a home and raise a family. Then we progressively made it harder and more expensive to manufacture here. We didn’t just lose Holden. We lost opportunity and we lost Australia. 🚨 Aussie businesses are getting absolutely ROOTED. Illegal tobacco shops and dodgy massage parlours are the only ones thriving while honest tradies, builders, shop owners and family businesses are being taxed, regulated and red-taped into the ground. Can’t hire, can’t grow and never been more likely to fail. We’ve been lied to by the elites in Canberra who treat small business like their personal ATM. What if I told you Australia has a political nuclear button built into the Constitution? It’s called Section 57 ❤️ Most Australians have never even heard of it, but it gives the Senate the power to stop legislation and force the country back to an election through what’s called a double dissolution🤔 That means: Every MP loses their seat, Every Senator goes back to the people and Australians get another vote on the future direction of the country. NDIS - September 2021 Vesh Chaurasiya, Nepalese on a student visa owns and runs a registered NDIS provider turning over millions of dollars a year. Home Affairs, the NDIA and NDIS Commission knew and approved it all. He employed foreigners on student visas with no qualifications to provide 24/7 care to the highest needs disabled people through his company SIL Experts (Supported Independent Living) An NDIS participant died in March 2021 in the care of his company. To date no one has been charged, no fines issued and no action taken. Insert my surprise.. 🤯
