This video is doing the rounds in the WhatsApp groups at the moment, you can’t but help to feel for this farmer. Remember that week of high pressure and sunshine in January? Ideal spreading conditions to get some slurry onto the ground but restricted by the impracticalities of calendar farming. I’ve had many snapchats sent to me by farmers with tanks full of slurry and indeed there are many local reports all over the country of farmers who had no choice but to take drastic decisions that have far reaching consequences
