𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗶 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝗖 Sholing FC are delighted to announce that Levi Colwill, the Chelsea and England defender, has joined the new board as an Associate Director, Community Ambassador, and Founder of The Levi Colwill Project. Levi has a very close association with the club having been involved from a very early age watching his uncles, Byron, Dan and Barry Mason play for Sholing and was also a mascot for the club in its famous FA Vase win at Wembley 10 years ago. Paul Knott CEO commented “This is incredible news for the club and the local community. We would like to thank Levi, Byron, Dan, Levis Dad, Levi Senior and Levi’s Mum, Debra for choosing our club to launch ‘The Levi Colwill Project’. The aim is to encourage as many children as possible to enjoy free football via our Project 5000 initiative where all under 19’s have free entry to Sholing FC matches. Adults will also enjoy entry for just £5. Levi will be announcing many exciting opportunities in the coming weeks which we are all thrilled to be part of. Levi was equally excited about the new announcements “It’s hugely important to me to put something back into my local club and community and I can’t think of a better vehicle than Sholing FC to do this. The Levi Colwill Project will financially support Project 5000 and we will assist in many other exciting ventures during the season. My family has been a huge support to me in my football career to date and I’m delighted that we will all be on this new journey working together in this new phase of the club. Being on the Board and in the role of Community Ambassador with Matt Le Tissier for Project 5000, is also something I was very keen on. I want to play my part in helping the club grow and it’s unbelievable to see the changes that have already happened over the Summer. The new stand for 500 supporters,the new Directors stand, parking for over 100 cars, the new marquee for Fan-zones on a match day, free marquee hire for all Project 5000 season ticket holders and the pitch looking the best it’s ever been.”

The football department have worked tirelessly over the weekend to secure a replacement for Magnus in readiness for our final push to secure a play off place. Pat Nash Joins Sholing! Sholing FC are delighted to announce the loan signing of Pat Nash from Aldershot Town FC! As a young goalkeeper, Pat has a rare amount of experience for his age, after a massively successful spell with Farnham Town over the last two years, and we can’t wait to see him in action for the Boatmen! Following the BBC South article last evening, the club would like to make the following comment. We believe the FA should establish a fund for all non-league clubs that need to carry out work on brick or concrete walls, or dugouts, located within the pitch perimeter. No more serious injuries or deaths should ever be allowed to happen again, especially when the dangers were highlighted two years ago after Alex Fletcher’s tragic accident at Bath City’s ground. Non-league football clubs are the lifeblood of the English football pyramid and deserve financial support to help address this urgent issue. This should also be considered in many other sports, including rugby and cricket, where similar risks exist. Our thoughts and prayers are with Billy Vigar, his family, friends, and everyone at Chichester City FC. ❤️🤍

Matt Le Tissier gives his take, ahead of the final game of the season, at home to Bracknell Town FC, tomorrow at the @mortgagedecisions Stadium. Join us as we enjoy our last game on the turf before we switch to the 3G next season, and enjoy early screenings of Chelsea vs Everton at 12.30pm, with draught beer offers until 2pm. We have visiting mascots from Salisbury Sparks to help welcome out the players and at half time the Sholing Women's & Girls Teams will be joining us to celebrate their success of the season with a lap of appreciation.
