everybody likes to clown JR Smith for forgetting the time & score in such a pivotal moment, which is understandable. but I always found it crazy how the whole world trashed JR as if that moment made the Cavs lose… when it was really George Hill. 80% FT shooter going 1/2 on game winning FTs. could literally see it in his eyes before the 2nd attempt that he was cooked. HE’S the one who truly sold what should’ve been LeBron’s greatest game ever, not JR.

promised the fans he’d bring the Lakers franchise back to glory, did exactly that, never got the chance to do it again, & it wasn’t even his fault. Jeanie & the Front Office completely SABOTAGED LeBron’s latter years post 2020. this organization & most of its fans never deserved that kept promise. been in his prime the entire time & only showed the slightest bit of regression this year (due to being injured in the offseason + a garbage 3rd option role). 8 wasted years man. we can’t get that back.

LeBron really done had the greatest career ever man. flashback to 2014. LeBron having his official homecoming ceremony. 30,000+ waiting in line early in the day just to get into the field. people that burned his jersey, people that threw dirt on his name, people that said he’d never win after he left, people that said they didn’t want him back… all in attendance just to see LeBron stamp his return to Cleveland. nobody else ever did it this big 💯
