11th century murthy of Vishnu and what it tells us? Just came to know a murthy which was dumped in the river to prevent Razakaars harming it resurfaced in the Krishna River along with Shiva Linga. It is important for Hindus to understand the significance. Vishnu's murthy has prabhavali which has avatars as you can see. Matsya, Kurma, Varaha, Narasimha, Vamana, Parashu Rama, Rama, Krishna, Buddha and Kalki. Since this murthy is from 11th century as per historians who assessed the murthy we can now safely conclude that Buddha has always been an avatar of Vishnu. Also, as I have pointed out earlier, the Bharat natya school floated by Leela Sampson, incorrectly omits Buddha and adds Balarama in his place. That is a missionary mischief like I have written about. It is also stressing the unity needed among Hindus. Vishnu and Maheshwara are together. Please drop all your differences and join as one. Actor here is Dr. Raj Kumar. He practiced yoga and was expert in Pranayama where he could hold the breath up to eight minutes! He did not use any body doubles for the role of pearl harvester in a movie shot near my home in 1986-87. Pearl harvesters often can hold the breath up to 10 minutes while searching for pearls under the water. You can see Dr. Raj also using the benefit of Pranayama here.
