ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಸಂಸದರೊಬ್ಬರು ದೇಶದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವರಾದರೆಂದು ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ ಪಡಬೇಕಾಗಿತ್ತು, ಆದರೆ ಸನ್ಮಾನ್ಯ Narendra Modi ಅವರು ಮಹಿಳೆಯ ಅತ್ಯಾಚಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಮರ್ಥಿಸಿದ್ದ ಸಂಸದ Pralhad Joshi ಅವರನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಲೆತಗ್ಗಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಿರ್ಗಮಿತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವ ಧರ್ಮೇಂದ್ರ ಪ್ರಧಾನ್ ಅವರಿಗಿಂತ ಪ್ರಹ್ಲಾದ್ ಜೋಷಿ ಅವರು ಯಾವುದೇ ರೀತಿ ಭಿನ್ನರಲ್ಲ, ಇವರಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಸೈದ್ಧಾಂತಿಕವಾಗಿ ಅವಳಿ-ಜವಳಿಗಳು. ಇಬ್ಬರೂ ಸಂಘ ಪರಿವಾರದ ಎಬಿವಿಪಿಯಿಂದ ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದವರು. ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು, ದಲಿತರು, ಬಡವರು, ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ಜಾತಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ - ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಆರ್.ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯವನ್ನೇ ಹೊಂದಿದವರು. ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ಪ್ರಧಾನ್ ಅವರ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಜೋಷಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ತಂದು ಕೂರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದೊಂದು ರೀತಿ ಊದುವುದನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಬಾರಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದಂತೆ. ಬದಲಾಗಿದ್ದು ಪಾತ್ರಧಾರಿ ಅಷ್ಟೆ, ಸೂತ್ರಧಾರಿಗಳಾದ ಆರ್.ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್ ನ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದಂತೆ ಇವರೂ ನಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಗುಜರಾತ್ ಗಲಭೆಯ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಲ್ಕಿಸ್ ಭಾನು ಎಂಬ ಮಹಿಳೆಯ ಮೇಲಿನ ಸಾಮೂಹಿಕ ಅತ್ಯಾಚಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು 2022ರಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಜರಾತ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಸನ್ನಡತೆಯ ಆಧಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಪ್ರಹ್ಲಾದ ಜೋಷಿ ಅವರು ಸಮರ್ಥಿಸಿ ಅತ್ಯಾಚಾರಿಗಳ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದರು. ಇಂತಹವರು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವರಾದರೆ ದೇಶದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯ ಗತಿ ಏನಾಗಬಹುದು ಎನ್ನುವುದು ನಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಈಗಿನ ಆತಂಕ. ವಿರೋಧ ಪಕ್ಷದ ನಾಯಕರಾದ Rahul Gandhi ಅವರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸದೆ Priyanka Gandhi Vadra ಅವರು ಲೋಕಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಹ್ಲಾದ್ ಜೋಷಿ ಅವರ ಮುಖವಾಡವನ್ನು ಕಿತ್ತೊಗೆದು ದೇಶದ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸದನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಬಾಯಿ ಮುಚ್ಚಿಸಬಹುದು, ಆದರೆ ದೇಶದ ಕೋಟ್ಯಂತರ ಜನರ ಬಾಯಿ ಮುಚ್ಚುವುದು ಸಾಧ್ಯ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಧರ್ಮೇಂದ್ರ ಪ್ರಧಾನ್ ಹಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಜೋಷಿ ಅವರು ಹೊರಡುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಹಳ ದಿನಗಳು ಬೇಕಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿಯವರಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಒಂದಿಷ್ಟು ಕಾಳಜಿ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದರೆ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಖಾತೆಯನ್ನು ಜೋಷಿ ಅವರಿಂದ ಕಿತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು, ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಅರ್ಹರಿದ್ದರೆ ಅಂತವರಿಗೆ ಈ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಖಾತೆಯ ಹೊಣೆ ವಹಿಸಿ ಕೊಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಜನರ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಒದಗಿಬಂದ ಅವಕಾಶದ ಭಾಗ್ಯ ಎಂದು ನಾನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡವನು. ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಯ ಪದತ್ಯಾಗ ಮಾಡಿದ ದಿನದಿಂದ ಹೋದಲ್ಲಿ, ಬಂದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನತೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಪ್ರೀತಿ, ಅಭಿಮಾನ, ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದರೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಬಳಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಜಗಮೆಚ್ಚುವ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜನಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂಬ ಸಾರ್ಥಕ್ಯದ ಭಾವನೆ ಮೂಡಿದೆ. ಪದತ್ಯಾಗದ ನಂತರ ಇಂದು ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಹುಟ್ಟೂರಿಗೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದಾಗ ಇದೇ ಅನುಭವವಾಯಿತು. ಸೇರಿದ್ದ ಜನಸಾಗರ, ಅವರು ತೋರಿದ ಪ್ರೀತಿ-ಅಭಿಮಾನ ಕಂಡು ಮೂಕವಿಸ್ಮಿತನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅಧಿಕಾರ, ಸಂಪತ್ತು ಕಾಲ ಬದಲಾದಂತೆ ಕಳೆದು ಹೋಗಬಹುದು, ಜನರ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ನಿರಂತರ. ನನ್ನ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಬದುಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಜನಸಮೂಹವನ್ನೇ ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎನ್ನುವ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ ನನ್ನದು. ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಯ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನ ನಶ್ವರ, ಜನತೆಯ ಹೃದಯಸಿಂಹಾಸನ ಶಾಶ್ವತ. ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಯಾರೂ ಕೆಳಗಿಳಿಸಲಾರರು. ಅದು ನನ್ನ ಮತ್ತು ನಾನು ನಂಬುವ ಜನತಾ ಜನಾರ್ಧನರ ನಡುವಿನ ಶಾಶ್ವತ ಒಪ್ಪಂದ. ನಾಡಿನ ಉದ್ದಗಲಕ್ಕೂ ಯಾವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯೂ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿ - ಅಕ್ಕರೆ ತೋರುತ್ತಿರುವ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಬಂಧುಗಳ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ನಾನು ಸದಾ ಬದ್ಧ. ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ನನ್ನ ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಗಳು.

It has come to my attention that a BJP MP named Tejaswi Surya has mispresented my statement and circulated it on social media. In the video, due to the background noise, the initial part of the reporter's query was unclear. When I realised the question pertained to the late Capt Pranjal, I not only asserted that the state government is committed to provide compensation, but also said that if any other state has given a compensation of Rs 1 crore to the martyred soldiers, we are also ready to give the same amount. True to our word, today our officials presented Capt. Pranjal's family with a compensation check. I have uploaded the complete video of my remarks for transparency. Tejasvi Surya, who circulated a misleading clip for political gain, has disrespected not just Capt. Pranjal and his kin but also the wider military community. Should this MP possess any shred of dignity, he would acknowledge his fault and issue a public apology. The public recognises that for the BJP, the nation, the God, and the soldiers are merely instruments for their political ends. The day the mortal remains of Capt. Pranjal were brought here, even though Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in Bengaluru, he did not show the courtesy to pay last respects and offer condolences to the bereaved family. Yet, we did not create controversy over it. However, the BJP Karnataka MP has shamefully exploited a hero's ultimate sacrifice for his propagation of falsehoods, aiming to damage my credibility — a deplorable act. In a concerning turn of events, certain BJP leaders like Ashwath Narayan, CT Ravi, and others have engaged in spreading misleading information about me. The deceptive tactic involves circulating an edited video that distorts my statements, falsely implying an admission of the Congress's inability to fulfill promises made in 2023. Contrary to the manipulated narrative, the unaltered video clearly reflects my remarks in the assembly, holding the BJP accountable for failing to fulfill promises made in their 2018 manifesto, especially the loan waiver promise they had made. I cited the fact that Yediyurappa, in 2009, had stated that they didn't have a printing machine to print notes and lacked the funds to waive farm loans. Yediyurappa had acknowledged that it was not possible for the BJP to fulfill promises made during elections. The reality is that the BJP did not fulfill promises made in 2008 or in 2018. They did not fulfill more than 90% of their promises made in 2018. This highlights their lack of commitment to their words. They are betrayers and cheaters. On the other hand, we have always delivered as promised. We delivered 158 of the 165 promises made in 2013. Now, we have fulfilled all the guarantee schemes within the first week of government formation and are in the process of fulfilling other manifesto promises. We are committed to our promises. The attempt to manipulate the narrative by presenting a distorted video is a disconcerting example of misinformation that undermines the public's right to accurate information. We urge the public to critically examine the authenticity of information and reject attempts to mislead through edited content. The focus should remain on holding political parties accountable for their actions and commitments, rather than resorting to deceptive tactics. The BJP is known to spread fake news, and its full form should have been 'Bogale Janata Party.' It is now evident that their entire machinery works to spread fake news. From Narendra Modi to CT Ravi, their agenda is to manipulate through fake news.
