The Witch Hat Atelier feels magical in every sense of the word. The craftsmanship inherent to the series' artistic spin on magic is portrayed with thorough care and precision, which extends to its depiction of handiwork, palettes that breathe life into a medieval setting, etc.

Fantastic way to end Yuushakei, ruthlessly subverting the expectations of a season finale. The peak of Kivia's confrontation with her uncle stands out, relying on visceral drawings, muted colors, and gut-wrenching voice acting to underscore the tangible anguish on screen

Whether due to source constraints or strategic resourcefulness, Elusive Samurai S2 has been a departure from its previous bombast, but #6 reminds the viewer it's still got it. Perfect chance for an ace like Hayate Nakamura to flex his action muscle & Tokiyuki to flex on them kids

Was curious about how seriously FX Fighter Kurumi-chan would tackle its subject matter, but today's premiere served as surprisingly decent cautionary tale. The scene where Kurumi confronts her terminally addicted mother stood out, maybe the work of the Trigger animators credited?

Really cool ED changes in Oshi no Ko Season 2's finale. When it zooms in on Ruby's eye right before the chorus hits, the star now turns red and then engulfs the screen in black with faint blood splashes, followed by a lasting glitch effect to reflect Ruby's decaying mental health

As promised, Medalist #15 (S2 #2) delivers its first full ice skating performance(s) in 2D animation, likely heavily referenced from 3DCG, but still not any less impressive. Yasutaka Yamamoto stated that four animators were assigned to it, one for each character in the sequence

Owing to its premise, as Solo Leveling moves onward, its clashes have only gotten progressively more intense, but eventually there comes a point when such power grows too unfathomable. So, how do you express such strength? With rad light trails dancing in negative space of course

Shingoyama's MV for Cosmic Princess Kaguya's ED is both the ultimate epilogue to his movie and a poignant encapsulation of the story of two cosmically star-crossed lovers, culminating in a grand chorus that bridges the two with his distinct editing and a gorgeous live performance
