Does anyone know of a way to detect if a screen shows a menu bar? I’d like to move the lights up to the top of the screen when there’s no menu bar but I can’t find a reliable way to detect this.

I don't like admitting it but sometimes festive lights can get in the way, so the next update to Festivitas gives you the option to have the lights stay on the desktop 🎄🔙

Working on a ChatGPT plugin that lets Codex build iOS apps on my remote Mac and send an install link right in the chat. It keeps a build history and lets me share builds with others. Working on apps from my iPhone while out and about just got faster and more fun!

I built my first ChatGPT app! 🚀 It connects with my Philips Hue lights so I can control them directly from ChatGPT. After logging in with my Hue account, I can view the status of my lights and control them with natural language. Here’s a short demo 👇

“Codex from the Shitter” 🚽 That's the core idea of my latest side project. It syncs Codex sessions between CLI and phone, so I can pick up where I left off anywhere. Built on Codex App Server. Runs entirely locally, no servers involved. Remote access via Tailscale.

Here’s a sneak peek at Canvases, an app I’ve been building on/off over the past 12+ months 👀 It’s a visual editor for building canvases that can be placed on the Home Screen as widgets. Canvases can be modified later, including with fresh data from Shortcuts.

Quite pleased with the new design of the settings window. It seems slightly more Mac-like than before.

I’ve spent a few evenings the past two weeks building a fun Mac app 👨‍💻 While editing text in any app, like Slack, I can press a shortcut to open a panel and pick a saved command which will use AI to transform the text. For one-off commands, I type instructions into the panel.
