Baby Michael Liam, 12 months old, ate groundnut that went in through his windpipe and got stuck. This terrifying accident almost took his life. He stopped breathing, had to be resuscitated, and was rushed into emergency surgery. This is the water situation in a school being used by over 1000 boys and girls. Some of these students are currently writing WAEC and are hopeful for a better future. We can’t let them fall sick during an important period like this. We will get experts to survey the area for good water and dig a new borehole for them in June. Mr Fidelis and 5 other men were arrested in their shops during the 2020 #EndSARS protests. They were tried without lawyers, thrown into prison immediately, and cut off from ALL their family. Today, four are dead from bullet wounds. One has lost his mind. Only Fidelis Akpan remains to tell the story. Meeting him serves as a haunting reminder of the 'forgotten' names still sitting behind bars. Fidelis has survived the unthinkable, but he is alone. WE NEED TO FIND HIS FAMILY.
