Our agent scientist, Agent S4, just got an open 27B model to beat GPT-5.5 and Claude Opus 4.8 on OSWorld V2, with the model's weights left exactly as they were. With the interfaces S4 evolved, Qwen3.8-27B completes 21.3% of the 108 tasks, the highest binary success of any open-source computer-use agent and 3.8x the same model with fixed interfaces. It costs $1.10 per task, against $25.50 for GPT-5.5 and $72.40 for Opus 4.8 💸 Full write-up:

1/ Wait, Bigfoot figured out how to run a startup without drowning in multitasking 👀 It found 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼, the world’s first production-grade, computer-use agent that runs thousands of steps without a hiccup - working 24/7 so he didn’t have to. So how does Simular Pro work? Most agents use LLMs - great explorers, but flaky when # steps grows; RPAs are stable but rigid. Simular Pro uses 2 agents, maximizing generality & repeatability: - Neural: explores - Symbolic: executes Every action is editable, deterministic code.

Introducing Sai-Fi: an open source app that lets you talk to AI agent Sai through a pair of Meta Ray-Ban glasses. Sai is an autonomous computer-use agent. It can see the screen, move the mouse, type, and keep working even when you are away. We used Meta Ray-Bans for the first prototype but the glasses aren't really the point. Underneath is the Sai API and a voice concierge designed to work across different devices. The interface could live in an earpiece, a car, a small box on a workbench, or something nobody has built yet. Give it a microphone, a speaker, and a connection, and Sai has another way in. The bigger idea is an autonomous computer you can reach from anywhere. Bring Sai to your own Meta Ray-Ban glasses today!

Have tasks you wish an AI agent could do on your desktop, but all you get are slides decks or vibe-coded apps? Simular 1.0 is here to actually relieve humans from repetitive computer work. Not a black-box LLM that invents its own steps, but an AI teammate you can teach to mirror your real workflow and repeat its success infinitely. Meet your new teammate, Simular 1.0.

Today marks an important milestone in the history of Simular, the autonomous computer company. Our open source computer-use agent, 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒, scored 72.6% on the OSWorld benchmark, surpassing the human baseline (72.36%) for the first time ever. This milestone matters because it shows AI can now use computers the way humans do, and, in many cases, do it better. This is a glimpse of a future where work becomes faster, more accessible, and more empowered for everyone. #AI #Automation #Simular #AgenticAI #ComputerUse

We just open-sourced Simulang, a JavaScript library that gives you and your coding agents the ability to fully control computers. Simulang is our scripting framework for desktop automation. It allows you to write deterministic computer use code that can be replayed dozens if not hundreds of times. Much faster and cheaper, compared to LLM agents. It ships with a skill out of the box. That means you can turn natural language prompts into Simulang code directly, and your agent can now see the screen, click, type, and navigate. It gives your AI agents eyes and hands to control the computer like humans do. Try these things with Simulang: - upload your pile of invoices to the expense platform - find 50 people with specific criteria on LinkedIn - open your calculator app and do some math - find all buttons on your favorite app using accessibility tree - or draw a bunny with MS paint 🐰 In this demo, we show how Simulang took over when the coding agent couldn’t open and click on the target LinkedIn profile page. Give it a try:
