There has to be a rules based system for immigration, deportations are a feature of that. However, the triumphalist messaging around deportations is dangerous. People do not enter the international protection system without reason. We must see humanity and dignity in our system.

That's a wrap on the campaign. Sadly it didn't give us the result we wanted. I'm gutted, but myself and the core team (Alison, Hannah, Ciarán, Gary, Mick, Peter, Úna and Jean) are all incredibly proud of the impact we've had, and so grateful for the support and contributions
