The world is shouting stop the slaughter in Gaza. Israel must be held accountable for its actions & for turning its face against a ceasefire. The position of the Israeli Ambassador to Ireland is untenable while Israel persists with deepening violence & ignoring ceasefire calls.

Sinn Féin opposes open borders and advocates for a fair, efficient, and enforced immigration system that respects the human rights of those fleeing conflict and persecution. This is why we have voted against much of the EU migration pact. Donnchadh Ó Laoghaire

It’s very significant that for the first time, there is no Fine Gael or Fianna Fáil TD in Dublin Central and is a real sign of the possibility for the first time of a government without them. Sinn Féin will continue to lead the opposition, to hold this government to account and to stand up everyday for workers, families and communities. We want to thank everyone who voted for Janice Boylan and Mark Lohan and everyone who worked on our campaigns.

"Better men and women than you will indeed gain Irish Unity while you're still muttering about the smoking ban" It's extremely disappointing that government voted against the Sinn Féin Unity bill. This bill only seeked to begin the preparational work to ensure we don't end up in a mess similar to Brexit.

The attack by a sectarian mob on Sinn Féin Assembly candidate for Lagan Valley, Declan Lynch, his wife, and their family while they were canvassing was a desperate attempt to slow down positive change in Lagan Valley. Declan Lynch and Sinn Féin will continue to grow and build in Lagan Valley, providing strong leadership for workers, families, and communities. Sinn Féin can make history by winning an Assembly seat in Lagan Valley at the next election. Declan lynch

Declan Lynch has been selected as Sinn Féin’s Lagan Valley candidate for the next Assembly election. Currently, there is no Nationalist MLA in Lagan Valley. You can change that next May. With the new constituency boundaries, and the inclusion of new areas, Sinn Féin can win in Lagan Valley. Let’s do it. Together, let’s win in Lagan Valley. Declan lynch

This state was designed so a nationalist could never hold the office of First Minister. History changed in 2024 when Michelle O’Neill became First Minister. The SDLP proposal today to abolish the First Minister title brings them alongside some of the most extreme voices in loyalism and unionism, who want to ensure no nationalist holds the position again. Incredible!

Róis-Máire Donnelly has been elected Ard-Mhéara Bhéal Feirste. A young woman from Ballymurphy and proud Gaeilgeoir, she will serve all the people and communities of Belfast. This is an enormous year for our city as we welcome Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann, and there is no better Mayor to lead it! 👏🏻

The DUP, led in the Executive by Emma Little Pengelly, will not succeed in their attacks on Irish national identity, and on those who do not fit within their supremacist view of the world. Sinn Féin will continue to fight for rights and equality every step of the way. Cathy Mason
