It’s very significant that for the first time, there is no Fine Gael or Fianna Fáil TD in Dublin Central and is a real sign of the possibility for the first time of a government without them. Sinn Féin will continue to lead the opposition, to hold this government to account and to stand up everyday for workers, families and communities. We want to thank everyone who voted for Janice Boylan and Mark Lohan and everyone who worked on our campaigns.

Really disappointed the Social Democrats and Labour voted yesterday with the Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael government to lock in carbon tax increases every year for the next five years.
