Fantastic response, putting these hacks firmly in their place. All due respect, Dr. Abati. But I honestly can’t believe this is a news channel pioneered by a once-top chief editor. You open a mega media house just to push the rather trivial narrative that a region is being politically marginalized simply because its politicians haven’t been able to entice enough voters nationally? Has any Igbo indigene ever been told they cannot contest in a general election? If not, then what exactly are we calling “marginalization” here? This victimhood BS really has to stop. And with all due respect, a PhD holder like Abati should know better. At some point, facts have to be allowed into the newsroom too—they shouldn’t need a press pass to get through the door. 😅
