SHE MISSED HER BUS BY JUST 2 MINUTES. 😭🚌 I had seen this lady standing under the hot sun for almost 30 minutes, so I walked up to her and asked if she was okay or needed to sit somewhere under the shade. She sighed and said, “I missed my bus.” 😩 Apparently, she had been standing at the WRONG pickup point and missed it by just 2 minutes. Now she had to wait another 2 HOURS for the next bus. 😭 What made it worse? She was travelling from London to Germany by bus and she had to change buses in Brussels, Belgium, with only a 1-hour connection. One wrong pickup point and the whole journey was suddenly delayed. I asked her, “But why go through all this stress by bus? A flight is less than 2 hours. Why not take the train?” She laughed and explained that the train would cost much more, while flying would also be expensive because of her luggage. I said, Woww, so this is the hack! 😂 While we continued waiting for our buses, I went into a nearby shop. I bought myself a drink and got her a cold bottle of water too. She told me she had been so thirsty but couldn't leave her luggage unattended or walk around with it because she was already exhausted. She took the water and said, Thank you. That was a really good gesture ❤️ Eventually, her bus arrived. She picked up her luggage, waved goodbye 👋 and left. Now several hours behind the time she originally expected to arrive. As she was leaving, I told her: Don't worry, "God's time is the best' 🙏🏽 She smiled with a 👋 👋 Sometimes, you don't need to solve someone's problem.
