Piers Morgan, look at me, standing proudly in my Welsh cilt (and yes, there’s no “k” in the Welsh alphabet). I a Pakistani Muslim brown man was there, simply because he loves the country that has given him opportunity, stability, and a future? Is it wrong to be proud of my adopted British culture and values? Is it wrong to say I love the UK and want the best for it? So why worry about how many attended but look at the reason why we were there. Loving your country does not make you extreme. Wanting strong British values does not make you hateful. Being a patriot does not make you a racist. I am proud of where I come from and I am proud of the country I now call home.

Following the publication of the rape gang inquiry report led by Rupert Lowe MP , S A M M Y Woodhouse and team, I feel both saddened and ashamed by what has been revealed. First and foremost, my thoughts are with the victims and survivors. These young girls were failed by the very institutions that were supposed to protect them. For years, many were ignored, dismissed, or abandoned while horrific crimes were being committed against them. As a Pakistani, I believe it is important to be honest about uncomfortable truths. There were individuals within PAKISTANI Muslim communities who committed these horrific crimes. There were also people who knew, suspected, or chose to look the other way. That silence allowed innocent children to continue suffering. The failures did not stop there. Community leaders, politicians, police forces, local authorities, and others who should have acted often failed these girls. Protecting victims should always come before protecting reputations, institutions, or communities. For many years, I have spoken out against these crimes and against those who seek to silence discussion of them. As a result, I have personally faced hostility, intimidation, and harassment. In Swansea, I have received threats, been subjected to repeated complaints, and have found myself under constant scrutiny for raising concerns that many people were unwilling to discuss openly. I have repeatedly reported threats and intimidation to the South Wales Police , yet I feel that my concerns have often been ignored. I have also experienced pressure from members of the local Pakistani and Bengali Muslim communities because of my willingness to speak publicly about these issues. Rather than engaging with the concerns being raised, some chose to attack the messenger. I lost my livelihood, faced investigations, and spent years defending myself while trying to speak out about matters that are now being acknowledged nationally. Regardless of what people think of me personally, the facts revealed in these inquiries show that there was a serious problem that should never have been ignored. My greatest concern now is that lessons must be learned. Those responsible for these crimes must face the full force of the law, and those who covered up, ignored, enabled, or failed to act must also be held accountable. Justice should not depend on race, religion, ethnicity, or political considerations. Britain owes these survivors more than apologies. It owes them truth, justice, and accountability. No child should ever be sacrificed to protect politics, ideology, community relations, or institutional reputations Swansea Council The victims deserved better. The British public deserved the truth. And now that more of that truth is coming to light, we must ensure that such failures are never allowed to happen again. I’ve been reporting the threats I’ve been receiving from Pakistani and Bengali Muslims in Swansea, but the police have repeatedly refused to help me. And I can’t help but believe it’s because I’ve filed a complaint against an Imam from the local mosque, the same Imam responsible for my wrongful arrest. This man even showed up at my basketball match with eight thugs, trying to intimidate me. He demanded that I delete my Facebook, X, and YouTube accounts, and that I stop saying Tommy Robinson 🇬🇧 is not a racist or that the white people who support him are not racists. When I refused to be bullied by this lunatic, he took my photo and name and circulated them across Muslim communities throughout the UK deliberately making me a target. People don’t realise how dangerous this is. It only takes one extremist to label me an “enemy of Islam” and end my life. Yet the police treat this like a joke. To make things even more worrying, the police officer handling my complaint started the conversation by bringing up “pro-Palestine” completely unprompted. That alone shows he came into the call with his own agenda long before he even listened to my concerns. And then, somehow, while I was making a complaint about being threatened, this incompetent officer found a way to blame me. All charges against me have already been dropped, yet he still acted like he knows better than the judges and the CPS. Was he biased? Or simply incapable? I honestly don’t know anymore. All I want to know is this, is what this police officer said on the call actually true? Because nothing about any of this feels like justice.
