🆕 A small-but-mighty update, full of good stuff™ for you! 🆕 First up — perceptual (Oklab) and vibrant (Oklch) gradients. Standard RGB blending can get a little muddy, but now you can have your gradients look smoother or more punchy. 🧵 ↓

Yes, the new toolbar has The Glass. It’s got some other neat tricks, too. We’ll save those details for the big reveal. This redesign is so nearly ready, beta dropping very soon.

For those of y’all who thought this next update was just us slapping glass on things… nope! It’s an app-wide revamp, including a complete redesign (and rewrite!) of the Inspector. Lots more to say on this when the beta drops, but there are so, so many tiny improvements in here we think you’ll enjoy. That beta, by the way, real soon. Real soon.

Sometimes you just want to paste a shadow, or a fill, or a border, or an effect… Luckily, you can! Use Option-Command-C to copy a layer’s properties, right-click another layer and choose what you want to paste. Also, holding Option while you paste replaces existing styles.

How it started: “Hey Marcelo Marfil, can you draw some new icons for the Tahoe update?” How it’s going: There are 775 new icons in Sketch now. We’re incredibly close to sharing this update with you! Thanks for your patience while we sweat the small stuff.

Did you know you can quickly rename multiple layers at the same time? Now there’s really no excuse for “Rectangle Copy 25 Copy” #SketchTip

🆕 Our next major update is here — and it’s got glass in it. Yep, that glass. Non-solid, lowercase-G glass. It works right out of the box (as all glass should?) but you can also tweak every parameter. It’s a lot of fun. And that’s not all! ↓
