“There’s no denying it – Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey might be one of the greatest movies of all time” Chantelle Bozicevic - Nine News. The early mainstream reviews are in, and The Odyssey is an epic masterpiece! Yet I’m more inclined to trust Film Threat’s smart Asian friend Alan Ng (in the background here). As to Elliot Page - an interesting and plausible conspiracy theory. The early reports that she played Achilles were denied. Indeed, she plays Sinon. The conspiracy theory: they changed the role of Achilles to Sinon after the backlash. (Others think that Nolan himself realized Page as Achilles was not going to work and changed it before the backlash.) Sinon was not in The Odyssey… Achilles was… and now Sinon is taking Achilles role (as a ghost in the underworld). In the movie Odysseus says that Sinon is “The greatest soldier I’ve ever known”. Which is certainly believable of Elliot Page regardless of whether she was supposed to be Achilles or not….
