So you're telling me if I own 10,000 shares of $KO at around $0.53 quarterly dividend I will get $5,300 every 3 months for doing literally nothing And they've raised it every single year for 64 years straight. Why aren't more people doing this?

So you're telling me if I invest $1,000,000 into the S&P 500 I get $10,500 a year in dividends But if I put that same $1,000,000 into the 30-Year Treasury at 5.63% I get $56,300 every year for 30 years for literally doing nothing The US government pays me 5x more than 500 of the biggest companies in America Why is anyone still buying stocks?
